Audosis® 500
Audosis® 500 Each Tablet contains Sodium Bicarbonate 500mg, act as a Alkalizer.
Mechanism Of Action
Audosis® 500, After administration, Sodium bicarbonate dissociates to form sodium (Na) and bicarbonate (HCO3). Bicarbonate anions can consume hydrogen ions (H) and subsequently convert to carbonic acid (H2CO3).
Carbonic acid subsequently converts to water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) for excretion from the lungs. The main therapeutic effect of sodium bicarbonate administration is increasing plasma bicarbonate levels, which are known to buffer excess hydrogen ion concentration, thereby raising solution pH to combat clinical manifestations of Acidosis.
The buildup of acid in the body due to kidney disease or kidney failure is called Metabolic Acidosis. When your body fluids contain too much acid, it means that your body is either not getting rid of enough acid, is making too much acid, or cannot balance the acid in your body.
